Welcome to the SSO website!

Our Midsummer's Day concert at Hever Castle with Sevenoaks Philharmonic Choir in support of the charity International Needs passed off peacefully (no wind, no rain), and was enjoyed by a full house - and particularly by two children doing cartwheels at the end of the evening to the strains of the Radetsky March and the Thunder & Lightning Polka (without natural sound effects).

After our summer break we will be preparing for our final concert of 2008, which will be an all-English programme. The announcement from the Stag (see 'Latest news', right) means that we will be unable to perform there; this will probably impact the date and time of the concert as well as the venue. We will give details of the alternative arrangements here as soon as we can.
